Is your house ready for the Spring? Here are a few key areas to focus on, to make sure your home is ready for the rain which inevitably falls in the spring:
Gutters and Downspouts: Make sure that your gutters and downspouts are clear from leaves and debris, so water can flow through them and not pool up on your roof. Also, check your downspouts to make sure that they are moving the water away from your foundation.

Roof: Check your roof for any missing shingles and broken flashing. The last thing you want is a leak during a downpour.

Sidewalks/Driveways/Porches/Steps: How does the water flow? Make sure the water drains away from your foundation to prevent any potential damage. Check for any cracks, which may lead to potential leaks.

Windows and Doors: Check the weatherstripping and seals and even the frames around your windows and doors. If they’re not in good shape, water could seep in during a heavy downpour.

Be Proactive! It’s better to be safe than sorry.
